About CASS
C.A.S.S. is a not for profit agency that offers community Support Services to people with disabilities in the Calgary Area.
Who uses our Services?
Adults with various types of disabilities including but not limited to, developmental disabilities, who require support to access the resources available within their community.
What do we offer?
Through our comprehensive knowledge of community-based resources for the disabled, our role as advocates, and through direct support to our clients, we focus on increasing the independence of the individual. Specifically, our staff assist in developing the individual's skills in the following areas:
- residential and daily living
- personal development
- communication
- community inclusion
- socialization
- recreation and leisure
- vocational
How do we provide support?
C.A.S.S. provides a range of community-based services, both residentially and vocationally. Our staff help each individual select those services most appropriate for them and will also adjust those supports, whenever possible, to meet the specific needs of the individual.

Who makes the decisions?
The individual and where applicable, his/her guardian, is involved in all decisions based on his/her needs. Our approach aims at maximum client involvement, choice and independance.
How are services provided
The individual receiving our services will, in consultation with their staff, mutually agree upon their goals and objectives as related to their specific interests. These goals and objectives are reviewed and adjusted regularly.

Anyone interested in making referral or simply requiring information, can contact our office where they will be directed to our intake Coordinator.
