Description:
Calgary Alternative Day Options is looking for an employment coach. Responsibilities will include becoming knowledgeable about the business, the customers, and the skills needed to operate the business. The successful applicant will research and facilitate product development and plan and implement marketing for the business in conjunction with the client and the vocation facilitator. Other duties include encouraging and facilitating the development of natural supports, keeping track of the business revenue and expenditures and annually create the client's Dreams and Goals Sheet including an ISP review.
Job requirements include calling in to verify attendance of self and assigned clients, liaising with clients' support networks and maintaining client files.
Required Education:
Diploma or Degree in Disabilities Studies or related field
Required Training:
Police Check. First Aid/CPR. Abuse Protocol. CPI.
A valid driver's license and a vehicle are required for this position.
Experience:
Any outreach experience is an asset. 2 years business operations experience.
Other Required Skills:
A minimum of 2 years experience working witha broad range of disabilities.
