Recruitment Coordinator - Human Resources Department
Calgary Alternative Support Services (CASS) is a not-for-profit agency which provides a variety of community-living and vocational supports to adults with cognitive disabilities in the Calgary Region.
CASS is currently seeking a Human Resources Recruitment Specialist to enhance agency H.R. and personnel management mechanisms and promote CASS within our vibrant community.
Duties may include (although may not be limited to):
• Recruitment of new staff across programs • Development, implementation, evaluation and management of recruitment materials and practices • Building and maintaining community networks • Liaising with Management around program hiring needs • Building relationships and promoting the agency within the community and educational organizations • Creating and posting of job opportunities • Acceptance and screening of applications • Scheduling, conducting and participating in interviews and performing reference checks • Develop Program Materials, Organize and participate in Job Fairs • Promotion of the agency as a preferred employer
- Required Education:
A degree or diploma in Non-Profit Management or Human Resource Management is preferred
- Required Training Certifications:
First Aid, Abuse Protocol, OH&S
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in Human Resource/Recruitment Management
Marketing and/or Public Relations experience
Experience working with people with disabilities or other marginalized populations is considered an asset- Other Required Skills:
Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills
Demonstrates competencies in building relationships with internal and external individuals and organizations
