Supportive Roomate
Calgary Alternative Support Services (C.A.S.S) is looking to hire a dynamic individual to join our Residential Services team as a Live-in-Support (Supportive Roommate)
Qualifications:
Should be able to provide for a Male Client
Residence must be in the NW or SW of Calgary.
Looking for a self contained basement suite.
-Must include one bedroom and living room.
-Separate kitchen, bathroom, and shared laundry ok.
-Separate entrance to residence.
-Client is a smoker.
Easy access to bus / C-Train.
Close to shopping mall.
Would like grocery shopping close by (preferably Superstore).
Recreational facilities close by.
NO children.
Single male or female preferred.
Pets ok.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide 1 to 1 supports to an individual in their residence.
Specific conditions would be detailed in contract.
- Required Education:
Diploma or Degree of a Human Service nature a benefit but not required.
- Required Training Certifications:
First Aid & CPR
Abuse Protocol
Medication Administration
Positive Practices / Restrictive Practices
If applicant does not have training listed, it can be available through CASS.
- Experience:
Some experience in this field required, 1 to 3 years in the field is preferred.
