The Calgary Alternative Support Services (CASS) Senior Leadership Team held a two-day planning session in March, 2024 to develop the CASS 2024-2026 Strategic/Sustainability Plan. To help inform the process we reviewed the CASS 2024 Employee Engagement Survey, the CASS 2022-2024 Strategic Plan, and our progress to date on that plan.
The strategic/sustainability plan for 2024-2026 was also informed by input from our programs, committees, staff, clients, and other stakeholders. Your input was critical in the development of this plan and is greatly appreciated.
We engaged with external consultant Brad Kotowich from the Focused Leadership Group to help guide our work. This was our second time working with Brad as we continued with our focus on organizational sustainability.
As always, the purpose statement and values of Calgary Alternative Support Services were central considerations in the development of our plan for the next two years.
CASS’ Purpose: ‘Facilitating connections and opportunities that promote personal value, engagement, and inclusive communities.‘
CASS’ Values:
D | etermination of Self |
I | ntegrity |
G | race |
N | atural Supports |
I | nclusion |
T | rauma Informed |
Y | ou Matter |
The CASS Senior Leadership Team used an ‘appreciative inquiry’ approach in the development of this plan. First we determined what the ideal CASS would look like. Next we considered our current areas of strength. We then identified annual, and ongoing required outcomes related to our organizational health pillars. Finally we identified the strategic priorities that will help to realize the ideal CASS.
The CASS Senior Leadership Team looks forward to working with each program area to develop program specific strategic objectives aligned with the agency’s objectives for 2024-2026.
