Who are we?
Langin Place is a building in Downtown Calgary that provides permanent supportive housing for individuals who have experienced mental health concerns, addictions, and homelessness. Calgary Alternative Support Services maintains an office at Langin Place to provide a variety of supports to residents of the building.
Langin Place falls under CASS’s service delivery program ‘Calgary Alternative Permanent Supportive Housing’ or CAPSH.
Mission Statement
Langin Place facilitates connections and opportunities that promote personal development and inclusive communities for adults (with no dependents in their care) experiencing mental health and/or addictions issues who have a history of chronic or episodic homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. Langin Place is a partnership between Calgary Housing Company, the Calgary Homeless Foundation, and Calgary Alternative Support Services. Stepping Stone Manor provides tenants with affordable safe housing using the harm reduction model, a housing first philosophy, and social determinants of health.

Intake
The placement process for clients is through a program called Coordinated Access and Assessment (CAA) which is the entry point into all CHF funded housing programs.
