As part of our ongoing engagement with all CASS Community members on the subject of vaccination for COVID-19, we are proud to announce that CASS will be hosting a virtual town hall for CASS staff with Community Outreach Manager Margaret Pateman, and Dr. Jia Hu from 19 to Zero (https://www.19tozero.ca/) next week on Thursday December 2nd from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
Margaret Pateman is a recent Masters of Public Health graduate from Western University, now working with 19 To Zero as the manager of community outreach and education as well as working with the University of Calgary building vaccine curriculum for Medical, Pharmacy and Nursing students.
Dr. Jia Hu is the Primary Care Vaccine Rollout Lead at the Alberta Medical Association, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary, the Chair and co-founder of 19 To Zero, and a family physician. He also works at the East Calgary Health Centre, an inner-city family medicine practice serving marginalized populations. Dr. Jia Hu is also a former medical officer of health for Alberta Health Services in the Calgary Zone.
Ms. Pateman will provide a presentation off the top followed by a question and answer session. If time allows, members of the CASS Senior Leadership Team will also be present to answer questions regarding the CASS mandatory vaccination policy.
